Face Mask For Oily, Acne Prone Skin!

Do you want a budget friendly face mask to help clear you acne? well look no further! Here I will explain a simple and cheap mask for oily skin. All you need for the mask is baking soda and water! So as long as you have running water this mask will only cost you around a dollar for tons of uses.
 Here's what you need:
1) small bowl
2) Baking soda
3) warm water
4) spoon (or other mixing tool)
Thats it! That's all you need!
Instructions:
To use this super simple mask take your bowl and add warm water from you tap. Add water until you can make a paste; stir with you spoon. Spread your baking soda paste onto your full face and wait until it drys. Gently rinse off the baking soda from your face. Pat dry with a towel.

* This mask works better if you open your pores by rinsing with warm water before the mask.

Ballet and PERIODS???

We've all been there, ballet class with our "time of the month". All of us has had our share of leaks and embarrassing moments during our periods- not to mention when were dressed in leotards and ballet pink tights. I really dread pmsing and being on my period when I have ballet, it seems like so much could go wrong, leaks, horrible cramps, backache and all of the other horrors. I will go through 5 common problems and my solutions to make our lives that little bit smoother.

Problem #1: You can see my pad through my tights:

Solution: You might think that the simple solution is to stick in a tampon, but some girls don't feel comfortable when wearing a tampon.  If you are a pad girl my advice to you is to take some time and trim your pad to make the size unnoticeable under a leotard. 

Problem: #2: I get horrible stomach cramps:

Solution: What really helps me is right before you go to class drink a glass of hot tea, that will warm up your stomach and hopefully get rid of you cramps. Another thing to try is taking a bath before class- a quicker alternative is using a hot water bag.

Problem #3: What happens if my tampon leaks:

Solution: Liners, liners, liners! A liner will hold a leak until the end of class, and they are also small enough to not be seen!

Problem #4: I get Backaches that kill:

Solution: Sometimes old fashioned pain killers can do the trick for you, but I would only use them if nothing else worked for me.  If your OK with looking like a fool try putting a tennis ball on the ground and laying ontop of it rubbing your back on it.

Problem #4: I loose my energy:

Solution: Try getting a good nights rest, that can make all of the difference. Another good thing to try is an energy drink, warning, make sure to look for ones not loaded with sugar or you will crash. Look for natural sourced energy: This can be as easy as a cup of coffee!

Noxzema: New and old face wash review!

This review is on the face wash Noxzema, it it my favourite and "go to" face wash! I stumbled upon this by chance, I went camping in the beginning of summer and I forgot my face wash (yikes!). We went to the nearest gas station and this was one of the only face washes they had available, lucky for me its amazing!  I love that it cleanses the skin without over drying or moisturising.  My skin is acne prone and oily so I was surprized that this helped my skin so much!  A word of caution about this face wash is that if you don't massage it into your skin it might break you out, but as long as your careful you should be fine.  Noxzema leaves my face almost looking matte, but still healthy! I went to Walmart a few days ago to buy my second bottle of the stuff and I found out that the company re- packaged/ changed lots of there products, I will tell you how the new one compares with the original:

you can tell the bottles changed a bit! The new one is shiny and taller, while the older one is shaped like a box with a matte label. The pump is on the newer bottle is a little more difficult to use, you have to tilt the bottle on a strange angle to get the product. The old bottle has a more old fashioned/ less sleek look but I prefer to use that bottle. Over all I do like the older packaging more for use, but the new packaging is super cute!

I was surprised to see that the product changed, I was just expecting a new sleeker look as not a different product. After that shock I realized the products were not as different as I thought! Looking at the picture you can already see how different these products look, the top one is the old product- bottom is new. The old formula is more of a creamy white when the new stuff is very crystal white with streaks of almost glimmer. Bottom line: Though the change of appearance, both products act the same way, when using them I could tell almost no change.

Lush Review- Trichomania

Trichomania is my new favourite shampoo! It makes my hair so soft and manageable, I almost don't need hairstyling products (other than setting spray)! Its like a "pick me up" for hair. Many people complain about pricing with Lush but for me this shampoo is a steal! Think about it, Trichomania does the work of shampoo and conditioner so when you buy a 10$ chunk its really like 5$ on shampoo and 5$ on conditioner! When you take care of the Lush Shampoo Bars they will all last a really long time! My sister uses drugstore bottles of shampoo and my Lush bars lasted three times what her drugstore shampoo lasted! Since there is no packaging the bar is also great for the environment! The bar is made of all Vegan and natural materials so your hair will be beautiful, guilt free!
This is great for curly hair that needs its spring back to dry hair wanting a drink, if you want silky smooth hair thats easy to manage, give this shampoo a try!

My favourite summer products!

I love summer, its my favourite season! These are the products ill be using non-stop during these hot months, from clothing to makeup!! I have 8.5 things to share with you guys today!! 

My first summer "must have" is the "Jergens Natural Glow". I love it because it really does give you that tan affect! Its a great creamy consistency and rubs in just like a normal moisturiser. I love to put this on at night then wake up with a beautiful tan! I have a warning about this product though, you must rub it in really well around your ankles, elbows, wrists and knees, or else they get orange :(. This product is also great for evening out unwanted tan lines. 

My .5 of a favourite is my "Jergens Natural Glow Face". I love this because it moisturises my face without causing breakouts (I have acne prone skin) and it has SPF 20! The only down side is that it doesn't actually tan your skin like the body "Natural Glow" does.

The second product I want to share with you is the face powder I use in the summer! This one is a splurge for me but I totally love it. Its the "Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural". I love it because it is really natural looking but still adds a little coverage and keeps my shine at bay. This also wins a spot on my list because it does not break me out at all!! I use the color medium dark and its my perfect summer shade! 

My third idem is my dark wash short-shorts! They are from "Street Wear Society" They are dark blue and look frayed at the bottom. sorry I cant find a picture :() 

The other clothing piece im going to talk about is a shirt from "Forever 21" Its a flowy tank and its super comfy! I love tops with this style because they look effortless!

My last two are both bronzers, its the season :) I love these for different reasons and they are both a must have!

One of the bronzers is from "The All Natural Face". Its an online store were all of the cosmetics are vegan and good for you!! The bronzer that  I have is in the color Warmth. Its a loose powder with a sifter and the powder is super soft. The color is a medium brown with a tad of shimmer! Its great for every day natural looking bronzing!

The last product is the "E.L,F Golden bronzer" Its a 3$ bronzer with 4 shades inside. Most people swirl there brush in all of the colors to get a perfect bronzed look, but I like to apply the different shades in different places to showcase different parts of my face! I use the lightest shade to hi-light  my face and the darkest to contour. I will use the pinkie one on my cheeks to add a little natural glow (if I dont want to wear a blush) and the goldest one I use where ever I need a little extra shimmer! (Dont use too much, and dont have glitter all over your face :P )
